Okay, so I notice I still have pictures of the broken Corolla which reminds me, I should update this.

I have fixed(ish) the Corolla and now its better than ever! Not only have I returned functionality to the automobile (headlights are actually fixed in place rather than wobbling around and pointing at anything but the road) but I have made two improvements:
A new two toned paint job-very cool, just wait til you see it!
and Character- yeah buddy!

Oh, and I finally got time to work on my car. There was a noise when you turn the car in one direction and not the other. Tire wear from not rotating them? I had them rotated and it didn't fix it. The guy at Meineke (sp?) said that's what it was and even after rotating the tires it wouldn't go away. I didn't buy that excuse so I put on 4 completley different tires and not luck.

All that to say, it was the bearings. Turns out they were easy to replace (minus having to take them somewhere to get them pressed) and I still enjoy working on my car- I mean, I actually had fun fixing it!

w00t!

helllooo there!

So, I never know what to write in these things. I guess I could write about my new job. We had a company birthday party today. I was told to not clock out for it, so that was pretty cool. Not that it makes much difference because it just adds overtime hours. Normally that sounds good but they have it set up so that the more overtime hours you get, the less you get paid per hour for it.

The dept I work in is cool with people listening to music while they work. which is cool except I don't have an ipod or even a cd player. So I thought, "hey, I'll burn mp3's onto a cd and play it from windows media." Except that windows media doesn't have the codecs it needs to play mp3's and that isn't something the company will want to fart with so I can listen to music. and because it's a computer at work, I can't install anything on the computer. That's when I came up with another idea. I downloaded the smallest version of winamp I could find and installed onto my computer in a temporary file. Then, when I burned my mp3's onto cd, I burned that folder (less than 3 MB) onto the cd also. When I get to work, i run winamp from the cd, and add the music files to winamp from the same cd. Voila! I get too excited over the small stuff.

anywho....gotta go.
